Sample apps
Open-source projects built on the twitterapis.com API that you can run, read and copy from: the MCP server and a read-only Claude skill that audits an X account.
These are real, public repositories that call the API. Each one is small enough to read in a sitting, and each shows a working pattern you can lift into your own code.
twitterapis-mcp
The official MCP server: the API's endpoints as native tools for Claude, Cursor, Windsurf and any MCP client. Shows auth, pagination and error handling around the REST API.
twitterapis-skills
An open-source Claude skill that reads X through the API: an X account audit covering posting cadence, reach and top posts. Read-only by design: it never posts, likes, follows or sends DMs.
Run one in five minutes
- Create an API key from your dashboard.
- Clone a repository and set the key in the environment variable its README names (the skills use
TWITTERAPIS_KEY). - Follow the repository README. Each one lists its own commands.
For the MCP server you do not need to clone anything: see the MCP integration guide.

Wire TwitterAPIs into Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf
Install the TwitterAPIs MCP server in under two minutes and let your AI agent search tweets, fetch profiles, and read timelines without writing a line of glue code.
